Makes installing cabinet hardware much faster and more accurate. I have "some" drawers (almost all) wider than 15 inches, which is exactly the width of this fixture. So I had to work around this problem. (I marked the center point and measured from there. I also then used some cabinet hardware/drawings wider than 15" so I couldn't use a single gauge. I also got around this by using the side of the drawer and the holes Eventually this worked, but it would make my life easier if the jig ruler was longer for "hole sliders" (For perfect placement: attach the rods to the jig sliders, then center them on the ruler .Secure the sliders and then remove the body bars from the jig and transfer/drill body holes (this technique cannot be used for extra long bars as they will not fit the template. So double and triple measure before you drill for them.) Final verdict: well worth the money, but still made my life so much easier.
