I purchased this tailgate cap to go along with a new set of bed rail caps with the diamond tread pattern for a 2001 GMC Sierra. The fit is absolutely perfect. The truck had a tailgate cap on it from the dealership when it was bought new, but I figured it needed replacing to match the bed rail caps. At first I thought it wasn't going to be able to cover those bolt holes in the tailgate, but it did. This cover is really easy to install when you take your time and be careful with the double sided tape. Great product at a good price.
