Super Cool Jacks. Luckily my '98 coupe was very clean and rust free so they got in with no problems. Climbing under the car on jack stands is inconvenient, but it took less than 10 minutes. It cost $12, probably the best $12 you could ever spend on a manual-transmission Honda. The shifts went from a popsicle in a custard cup to (which could have been) a one-gate shifter. Never skipped downshifts after this was installed and it also made it a lot easier to engage reverse.
