Review on Kleinn Air Horns HOGKIT-1: Powerful Direct Drive Horn System in Striking Silver & Black, 14 Inch by Ryan Chaplain

I ordered this horn kit to replace the stock horn on my 2013 Electra Glide. After installation, the signal is excellent. Significantly louder than stock and sounds good. However, a word of caution to anyone thinking of ordering a horn as I had a couple of issues to contend with: 1. After receiving the package I took stock of the parts and found that the clamp plate of the Horn mount was missing. Emailed Kleinn and got a response from their internal sales team saying they could send me the missing braces instead of sending the entire Revain package back. 2 weeks later, no braces, no further messages from Kleinn2. The pre-wired relay was incorrectly connected. The power line and the positive line to the compressor were interchanged in places. Luckily I had a diagram from another source showing the correct connection of the relay so I was able to fix the problem quickly. Faulty positive lead from relay to compressor. Once installed the horn worked until I removed all the wires. When I tried the horn after tidying up the wires it didn't work so I had to troubleshoot again. It turned out that a wire was broken somewhere in the insulation so I had to run a new wire. Luckily I had the cable and connectors so that was an easy fix too, but the fact that I had to replace a new cable is totally unacceptable. /QC is sorely lacking... Not to mention their terrible customer service. Conclusion: If you have the technical knowledge to troubleshoot problems, you will be satisfied with the end product. If you don't have electrical troubleshooting skills, you can look for another product that comes included and works right out of the box.
