Incredible clarity even at maximum magnification and even compared to $2,800 Swarovski. I chose Simmons. I've looked around for spotting scopes and done a ton of research, read reviews, watched videos and ended up in the athlete's camp comparing riflescopes of all price points and just couldn't believe I finally settled on the Simmons Venture 20 -60 x 80mm, much less than it costs around $160 and comes with a soft case and a Pelican style hard case, a table tripod and great lockable lens caps. I expected it to be a piece of junk, but I was wrong. I will say that it's a bit larger than more expensive spotting scopes with the same performance and lens size, but it's not very heavy. I've been wondering how it will hold up as a bow hunter walking into the mountains to hunt and it has passed all tests and is still rock solid and has incredible clarity even in low light. I even used it for star gazing a few times and it was great. I highly recommend these scopes, I've also heard good things about 60mm lenses. If you don't believe this review, just find a sporting goods store that sells them and see for yourself, even put them next to top scopes and you won't believe it.
