Good design but poor design - Allen key doesn't really fit anywhere

Well built tool but didn't fit me. Application Kawasaki Showa damper coil spring lock nut. The radius of curvature of the tool is not suitable for these locknuts (60mm) so the hook does not go deep enough into the groove so that when you try to turn the key it just pops out of the locknut. I believe that goes for any of these multipurpose keys. I'll try either a precision or an adjustable wrench to see if it works better.
