Review on πŸ›Ά Malone Foldaway-5: Ultimate Multi-Rack Folding Kayak, SUP, Canoe Carrier - Black MPG125 by Jay Blo

NOT certified for SUP in roof racks

This rack says it is suitable for use with surfboards (SUPs) but it is not. So only read this review if you are planning to buy this product for your SUP. Their solution to the Malone Foldaway SUP is to fold it up and tie it on top. They give you two free pieces of styrofoam to attach your device. This is obviously an afterthought and marketing idea (which worked for me). This is exactly what you would do if you did NOT have this product. You simply tie it to the built-in stand (which you already need to set up the Malone Foldaway). You certainly can't attach two SUPs, which is what I was hoping for. As far as I know there is a very specific market for the Malone Foldaway. If you regularly carry TWO light kayaks (up to 85 pounds each). It is not designed to carry my two ocean kayaks. If you only have one kayak, you don't need a double aspect. Otherwise, there's nothing better than just using the old plain brace you already have on your car, maybe with a piece of styrofoam. Security. Some people mention that it's easy to steal. I think that can happen. There are 16 finger-tightened buttons holding this thing in place, but to take it off you only have to undo eight of them. It took me about six minutes to take mine off, but I knew exactly what I was doing. So I don't know if I would worry that much about it. In terms of construction and durability, it's probably suitable for use with two light kayaks. So make sure when you buy it that it suits your intended use.

Cons
