Poorly designed hardware
Screws stick out from underneath and hit the floor. They also have to be designed with a pan head screw because they sit too high. Because of these two factors, it is necessary to cut the door with a small clearance, which is ridiculous. When fully tightened, it is .465 inches thick...just under 1/2 inch. That's too much for the minimum distance...
