On my 2003 Ford Focus (2.0L ZTEC engine) the battery light was flashing intermittently. The headlights and dashboard also dim and light up intermittently. I measured the output voltage and got 13.9 to 14.2 volts with the car running. We contacted Advanced, they checked the battery and alternator and said both are fine. I replaced it with this device and now I'm getting 15.0 volts. The light will no longer dim or brighten while driving and the battery indicator will no longer light up. Replacing the alternator on this car is difficult, but worth it.
