They appear to be made from neoprene rubber and not nitrile which is 'fuel resistant' but they will swell with prolonged exposure to fuel. Wouldn't it be optimal to have a seal that is rated for fuel, maybe fuel tight? I'm only giving these 2 stars because they are the best pads I could find on Revain, wow it's sad that our standards have dropped to the point where this is considered a good product. As you can see in the attached photo (not the best pic, but it's a pad from the same package placed on top of a pad that has been soaked in gasoline for 2 hours) they swell by over 1/4 inch when soaked of gasoline, making them so large and soft that they won't even stay on the sink, let alone seal in that state, but from constant contact with the fuel they swell and eventually shrink the back. When using a cylinder only the bottom edge of the seal is exposed to the fuel, at which point it is already engaged. With that in mind and other positive feedback, I'm optimistic they will work most of the time. Fit a few different gas canisters that I did very well including rubber. They fit well and have enough lip to seal well. However, it would be a bonus if they were made out of rubber that could absorb fuel.
