I've had it for 6 months now and no problems. The power switch only works when the device is switched off and there is no more water in the tank. That's a good mistake for me :) You can't use a timer with electrical switches. This works with timers as it turns on when connected to a power line. It takes about 4 hours to fill, the water is delicious. The mystery bottle is Citric Acid, which needs cleaning after a few runs. Vinegar works too, but I prefer powder. Overall very happy with it.
