We decorated some wine bottles on arrival although I expect they will be leaving the house one by one for Christmas parties this season. A really fun addition to the hostess' gift bottle of wine. My kids loved it, as did the adults here. But there are two downsides: First, a face can be easily attached to the top, making the decoration less odd. Santa even has a beard. Just stick on extra felt with eyes and a smile. I understand the front piece can be tricky to make, and I'll admit my kids found this particularly fun. It's definitely a seasonal miracle. Can you save from vacation to vacation? Probably. But the design is rather poor. The reindeer's ear is half grown and twisted, but who cares? It's still cute. On the other hand, Santa is definitely smaller than the other two, so you really have to stretch him to get him through the wine bottle. Santa hasn't had a lot of wine since last year and has really lost weight. Again, totally fun home decorations that are easy to grab and give away.
