Does what the generator is supposed to do.
Direct replacement for my 2013 F-250 6.7. The tension recovered to 14.6. It was $60 less than what I could find at any local auto parts store. I'm not sure why replacing the alternator has to be so difficult. Previously, it was possible to switch in minutes. Now you have to remove so many parts to get to the alternator and belt tensioner that it takes 2-3 hours.
