I avoided these spiral hoses like the plague. Every one I've bought has been leaking for a week, cracking, failing and quickly ending up in the bin. I felt they were a waste of money. I was tired of coiling up my 100ft rubber hose every time I used it, so I took a chance and bought a WYNNsky hose, which turned out to be one of the most popular hoses at Revain. I have to admit this is a lot harder work than any other hose I've bought. It's not made in the USA but the quality is excellent and I expect it to last a long time. No hardware store scrap for the price, just buy it.
