Now that I have the Rout-R-Lift II I somehow paid extra for a mast lift. The instruction is excellent, the equipment is excellent. The thing works great, it's very heavy and flat. I'm taking off a star because it's ridiculous to spend that kind of money (of course I know it's one of the cheapest elevators out there) and there's only one ring. It wouldn't matter if the rings were readily available like Kreg elevators, but the cheapest place I could find them (with delivery) was direct from Jessem, and the cost (with delivery) of such a elevator was astronomical. . a few ounces of plastic. ------------------------ Updated 08/01/2016 I have had a lift for a few months now and wish I could have a lift from another manufacturer to buy. Here's why: - JessEm inserts are more expensive than others and harder to find - JessEm inserts don't work as well as others; I can never tell if a supplement is safe or not. The difference between an insert locked on the fence and the table flying out is just a fraction of an inch. I contacted Jessem's customer service for help with a problem with my elevator accessories (which they admitted to be their fault) and they were unapologetic and terribly slow to resolve the issue. My experience with other companies that are often compared to JessEm has been much better. If I could do it again, I wouldn't buy the high end JessEm anymore, I'd just buy it from someone else. The extra money would be well spent.
