Was very happy with this purchase. Used with the following SDS chuck adapter: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01F4IQQUA?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title Uses a Bosch SDS drill that has an optional drill-only setting. Used to cut the core for a 4" gas dryer vent. Approximately 9-10 inches of cinder block wall with poured concrete for reinforcement must be passed. We don't have a center guide nozzle so I drew my circle and then used the masonry nozzle to go over the outside of the guide so the core nozzle had a circle to start from and cut into. Quiet, it lasted just over an hour with little pressure. Received plenty of resistance from a 1/4" or 1/2" piece of built-in rebar. But we just let the tool do its job and eventually it passed. I asked a question specifically about rebar and got several replies (thanks everyone!) from previous buyers that while it wasn't built specifically for it, it can handle it. and it happened. If you want to cut a hole in a log wall to vent the dryer; this thing will do the trick!
