These Geedel fries are really very good. Including 2 knives with sharp steel blades. A 3/8 square is for french fries and diced onion, the other is a quarter of an apple or other fruit. I had an old fashioned ecko roast slicer. This worked for many years, but I wanted something better. It was all thin metal, and the blades broke off and stuck in the potatoes. This cutter is made of good, well-made, thick, hard plastic that feels unbreakable. It also comes with a small bowl for catching chopped fries. I really like the ease of use. When used as intended, the device cannot be bent or broken. Took me about 1 minute to cut 5 potatoes. My old took about 15. Operating the lever by hand is more difficult than just pushing on the kitchen counter. I am very satisfied with this fryer. Can be washed in the dishwasher. Removable blades and easy storage. I highly recommend it.
