After finding something better I returned it. Also, I found something more user-friendly, so this product is every bit as good as the demo, but there's something I can do and more.

This was my first attempt at air frying potatoes and I chose this slicer to see how well it works. The instructions are perfect and it works as described. Really easy to use. Attach the base of the slicer with the bowl on the underside. Place the blade on the blade and slide the top open with both hands. Cuts potatoes quickly and easily. Great suggestion and what makes the process so easy.

You have to cook the potatoes first, I used auburn to make the fries and the potatoes were very difficult to push through. I had to use my elbow and hit hard, the video or description says you can easily cut potatoes but use quick, steady movements. E NO! The cutter is plastic and I bet it will eventually break if force is applied. With this in mind I am returning it before this happens and while the return period is active. I bought this as a french fry fan but wasn't sure if it was really easy to work with. I like that it's not a huge device that takes up a lot of closet space. I just put the mixture on the grid, put the potatoes in and put the wire on top of the potatoes. Then, since I don't have enough strength otherwise, I climb over it and in just 2 seconds he completely cuts through the fries. A french fries knife works well if you REALLY know how to hit it and can put a lot of effort into squeezing the potato halves through. The blades are very good sharp and really cut my fingers after accidentally hitting them in soapy water while cleaning them so be careful I don't know who to contact to see if I can get a replacement although they say "As the wedge cutter can cut anything I would recommend sticking with Just Soft Fruit.
