Okay, the reason for the good rating followed by the harsh title is because I have no complaints about this particular product. I bought this AFE Silver Bullet Throttle Body Gasket with AFE Stage 2 CAI. Not mentioned by AFE, the lock washer bracket on this car gets in the way of the intake manifold. And my car started wearing a hole in just two weeks. I have since removed the air intake and ordered a stage 1 which uses the same airbox adapter as the second stage but connects to the stock intake pipe which cleans perfectly. Just FYI because I think some of you, like me, might want both. The throttle body gasket was everything that was promised on the box. There's a slight howl at full throttle, but that's to be expected. Fuel economy has improved slightly but I run 35" tires so I suspect fuel economy would be better with stock tires. However, I get 15mpg with 35-inch tires and 373 gears, not to mention I drive like a bat out of hell. . Installation will be easy for anyone with modest automotive experience. I was a little suspicious at first about removing the throttle body on my brand new truck, but it caused no ill effects and wasn't difficult to get to. Overall a good product, easy to assemble, made from one piece of aluminium. An installation error is the only way to damage your car.
