After 1 year as the main pump / quality and materials

I have used this pump almost exclusively for the past year and it has been great! I ride my bike almost every day and use my bike as my primary mode of transportation to get around the city. Yes, I prefer a good floor pump, but there's nowhere to put it in my small apartment. This pump is not too big and not too small (at least for portability), has a pressure gauge (I haven't tested accuracy), seals well and holds up well. I don't see it failing any time soon. After prolonged use the only place I see wear is a piece of plastic that rubs against the aluminum tube with every movement and shows little to no wear. The small o-ring where the pump connects to the presta valve also held up well. After repeatedly screwing and unscrewing the threads of the Presta valve, there are no cuts on it. I have seen cuts on this o-ring on other pumps. Not this one. All metal? no Its parts are made of plastic. However, I don't let that confuse me. Just because it has plastic parts doesn't mean it won't last, nor does it mean it's of lower quality than another pump with fewer plastic parts. Plastics are even used to replace traditional metal parts in some high-end engines. the main quality of materials and build quality. I am attaching a picture showing in detail which parts are aluminum and which are plastic. One thing I really appreciate about the design of this pump is that there are never any greasy bits exposed during use. I tried to show how it works in another photo. I haven't used the mount so I can't say. Although the build quality appears to be the same.
