Very impressed with this kit. All parts were metal, not plastic. My 2008 F150 with 5.4 Triton sounded like it was possessed by demons. When the engine was cold, it howled and howled/whistle, no matter what the outside temperature. Even at 100° it howls like a banshee when starting. After some research I decided it was either the idler pulley or one of the idler pulleys. The bearings start spinning and make that howling noise. I figured I'd just replace them all including the belt and call it good for a few years. This set had everything I needed. All the parts fit perfectly, the whole job took me about an hour. Although I carefully studied the layout of the serpentine belt, I had to play around with the belt a few times to get it right. Now my truck is quiet and there are no more demons! Ultimately, the culprit was the idler pulley. The other three pulleys (2 smooth and one ribbed) were still fine and spinning freely, but why all this work only to have to do it again in six months or a year? I take the peace of mind for $100 every day.
