This spinner has a design flaw. As a mechanical engineer, I took the time to understand and possibly improve the function. After about 10 uses, the drum began to slip out of the plastic bearing and then wobbled violently each time, making a very loud noise in the process. I solved the problem by using a heat gun to melt the bottom of the plastic drum to bring the bearing closer to the bottom shaft of the tank. If you try, place the tumbler in a snug-fitting glass or ceramic bowl, heat the bottom of the tumbler, and when it's soft, press down with the cup to keep the tumbler firmly seated between the shafts. Cool with water to fix the shape immediately. It is also difficult to operate. First you need to close the drum with a lid, and then exactly align the lid with the top. Other spinners have a pause so you don't have to wait for the reel to stop on its own. The dryer is smaller than expected. Maybe good for two side salads. An optional chopper can come in handy if you have no other choice.
