We perfectly fasten 100 wooden frames for bees, we are preparing to fasten several more to each other. 2 clips on each end of the top rail into the side rails and 1 clip up through each end of the bottom rail into the side rails. 600 staples and I am happy with my purchase. A note for those planning to assemble beehive frames. I figured next time I need to order staples I might choose a 1" staple - was a bit concerned I'd be using a staple that's too long and causing a soft jaw tear, but 3/4- Inch shows no issues, so I wouldn't mind having extra 1/4" brackets holding the frames together for better long-term use.
