The first thing I did was connect the GameCube controller adapter to the Switch when it wasn't connected. It was successful, works fine with the screen. Second, I used it to connect the ethernet to the switch, both when undocking and when docking. Both were unsuccessful. Third, I hooked up an external battery in hopes that I could charge the Switch and use the GameCube controllers at the same time. This wasn't successful, but I've found that if I connect a different USB-C cable to the adapter and use that in place of the connected USB-C dongle, it charges fine. I'm not sure how this works and it defeats the purpose of using a hub. In short, don't buy this if you want to accessorize your Switch.
