So when I first opened it I was very excited and impressed. The eyebolts were a good weight and looked good quality. I had no doubt that they would be strong enough to attach my gear to my roof rack. Unfortunately when I connected them with M8x1.25 hex bolts I could only get them through 5 of the 10 eyebolts. The threads were very poorly done on the other 5 and on some eyebolts I don't think they even opened the through hole all the way because the bolts wouldn't come out. Penetration and/or thread tearing or thread burrs. Nonetheless, 5 of my hex bolts got stuck in these eyebolts and although I was able to get some of them out, in most cases the bolt broke and some of them got caught in the threads of the eyebolt rendering it unusable. Of the two hex head screws I managed to get out, I tried to loosen them with a tap and unfortunately the tap broke (even with tapping oil and the correct tapping method). It's safe to say I was more than disappointed. I lost my faucet because it cost more than these eyebolts. Overall the price was good for them, I have 5 working ring bolts and that's enough for what I need right now. However, I think there is a lesson in always buying quality gear.
