This is a special thread that is excellent for parts that need to be both flexible and rigid. I needed nylon flexibility. to a specific printed part in our design. Tried many and this one is as close to perfection as I could find. I say almost because while it's elastic like nylon, it doesn't instantly return to its original shape. It behaves more like a stretched Armstrong-type material, gradually returning to its original position towards the end. I would have preferred it to return to its original shape immediately, but I can live with that since it's used to make and test prototype parts, so it's good enough. buy more.
