Review on Makita VC4210L Gallon Filter Extractor by David Gibbs

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent vacuum with all the features

This vacuum is in the general price range of other high-end vacuums with the same features like auto start, variable power and quiet operation that the $100-$100 price tag doesn't add up to find are offer. $400 vacuum cleaner. The difference with Nilfisk or Festool is that it has all the features, not just a subset: wet or dry, adjustable power, automatic fine dust removal, Hepa filter, automatic start, decent capacity, solid build, powerful and quiet. No other vacuum in this price range has all of these features and in my case I was looking for a vacuum that had them all because I use them all. Nilfisk Attix is close, but for some reason the Amazon version doesn't have variable speed. Yes, the automatic cleaning is noisy, but those who don't like the noise and don't pick up fine dust can turn it off by setting the vacuum to wet mode. Yes the graphic instructions need to be studied but hey this is a vacuum I practically skipped the instructions. And all filters are available now. So if you are looking for a long lasting vacuum with all these features, this is a good choice.
