i am in shock at how much i love this pen. This is the first glass pen I've ever tried and it writes like a dream. It comes with a very dense rubber insert that covers the tip. I cut mine off very carefully because I could see the tip breaking just by pulling on it. I found the pain myself just at the right angle. It tends to dry out on one side so I tend to rotate it as I write. I love how thin it is and not the bulbous tip. It is more as wide as a pencil or slightly wider. Overall I like it and will use it a lot. Testing ink becomes much easier. I was hesitant to buy these due to the low price and I've heard they are scratchy at times. I haven't encountered this with this pen except when trying to write straight vertically. So I just write at an angle that I'm pretty sure should have been. If you're not sure if a glass pen is right for you, give it a try.
