This was the first glass pen to look more like a cylinder than all the bulges you see on many fountain pens. It feels comfortable in the hand and feels more versatile than some larger-grip pens. i am in shock at how much i love this pen. This is the first glass pen I've ever tried and it writes like a dream. It comes with a very dense rubber insert that covers the tip. I cut mine off very carefully because I could see the tip breaking just by pulling on it. I found the pain myself just at the right angle.
