Review on 🏎️ B&M 10280 Aluminum Transmission Pan: Exceptional Performance & Durability for Optimal Transmission Functionality by Vinay Kolluri

Bought this pan for my Dodge 2500 Cummins '04 with box 48RE. I was a bit worried because the picture shows the chrome version and the part number is for cast aluminum. Luckily, what's arrived is actually a simple aluminum die-cast. The sump is heavy cast, which I was very happy with, although the flange finish could have been better. I was pleasantly surprised to find some additional features not mentioned in the product description: In addition to the drain plug, there is a 1/8" threaded connection for the temp probe and an aluminum extension for the filter to allow it to sit in the sump and utilize the additional liquid depth. The kit includes a filter and gasket and stainless steel socket head screws to attach the pan. Unfortunately the gasket is just a cork gasket, a reusable OEM gasket would probably be a better choice.
