Review on πŸ”‘ 2 Pack of Keyless2Go New Uncut Transponder V Chip Ignition Car Key Replacements for HO03 by Rick Ross

Details matter

These replacement keys fit perfectly. My requirements were very unusual. I bought a used Japanese car (JDM) online and shipped it from Japan to the Caribbean. 2005 Honda CR-V Chassis RD7 RHD. These specific vehicles are themselves almost identical to the US models, but there are slight differences in what features are included in each model year. My problem was that the car only had one ignition key and it turned out that if that key was lost it would require an expensive replacement of the ignition components to get the car running again (this may or may not be true - there may be alternative ways for programming the spare keys) One of the differences is the immobilizer transponder in the ignition key. The problems with the immobilizer system and getting spare keys are the same as US vehicles with the added complication that the model year is slightly different, the technology is slightly different in the model year and there is no reliable information to determine this. specific details. Possible immobilizer transponder options: HO01, HO02 and HO03. The 2005 US model appears to require HO02. The ignition key was stamped with a "V" indicating that the HO03 transponder was actually required for the 2005 JDM model. It seems that the HO03 transponder was only used in US models from 2007 onwards. So I bought this key, cut it in the US at a $15 hardware store, my local Caribbean "shadow tree" mechanic - who has an OBDII diagnostic computer/programmer - programmed the keys for $40. The result - everything worked out as planned, now I have two spare keys and I don't have to worry about the parked car!
