Too soft rope, not enough wood

Bought for my red-bellied parrot. He will poke at it, but is not enthusiastic about it. First he chewed on blocks of wood, then he broke off several wooden beads. He soon returned to his other wooden toys. The problem with this toy is that it has too much soft rope to be of interest to a larger chewing parrot. He likes to sleep next to him and snuggle up to the ropes, but I wouldn't choose this toy again to keep him entertained.
