I'm an advanced Raspberry Pi user (I own over ten) and have several RPi ZWs. This hub doesn't work at all. When plugged in, the Pi does not recognize the hub or other devices connected to the hub. Other hubs will of course work, but this one was compact and was purchased to provide backup when using the Pi over a network (as others have stated). When I first bought it, I didn't have a chance to test the device or I would have asked for a refund. This may work for other purposes, but is useless for use with the Raspberry Pi Zero W. Ironic given the name.
