Complete garbage. - Saw Blades, Parts & Accessories

I was wondering why all my cleats are bent about 1/16" which is a lot when it comes to cleats going in grooves - all my cleats were either loose or slightly too big, but I measured correctly. Well, while trying to solve this puzzle, I noticed that this piece of plastic junk buckled under pressure. I mean right? It's just outrageous for a part like this - you don't want anything bent on the table saw! What was DeWalt thinking? Which VP got a bonus for discovering how many cents a company can save on each needle plate? The worst part is that it's 1/16" UNDER THE SAW TABLE! Add that to the ups and downs and guess how it affects your work. Depending on what I did, the pieces came out too big, too small, uneven - pieces measured to cut the same amount on all sides came out with different cut amounts on all sides. 3/8 became 5/16 and vice versa. It was driving me crazy trying to figure out what was going on. When the reviewers said it didn't fit the 7491 I didn't know what they were talking about because mine fit the space perfectly - and that's when I noticed the curvature and how low the top was below table level. Too late to return - I bought it in January 2019 but only started using it and the dado set a few months ago. What a waste of $30 and I'm furious at all that good expensive wood I wasted all this time trying to make things right when DeWalt messed up my work and all the way to the bank laughed. I have several DeWalt tools and they have mostly been good enough. But it's not the only game in town and I will never buy a DeWalt product again. I throw away the garbage - I do not want to buy. For now I'll have to ditch the dado set (I'll be wasting another $125) and go back to a metal needle and regular blades until I make my own.
