I am reviewing this GasKnight 2.0 after using version 1.0 for a year and switching to this unit when I needed a second detector in another room. This is quite a nice gas alarm and it has a very modern design. It's larger than 1.0 and includes an LED display that wasn't there before. I believe this is a more permanent solution as it is designed to be wall mounted. Some devices are only designed for direct connection and are therefore more versatile. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who needs a nice modern gas alarm. This is especially useful in situations where the outlet may not be close to the gas source.
