I got some flat box furniture not long ago and even had experts put it together. After just a few weeks it was easy to see the furniture was total and utter rubbish. Problem is the furniture still looked good and was about par for the course in quality these days. So I set myself the task of trying to make this chest of drawer sets (5) work.I managed to figure out a way to replace the faulty hardware using basic wood. Problem I needed to glue the wood onto the drawer cabinet and the glue had to be strong enough to hold whatever heavy items I stored in each of five drawers. I've never been let down by Gorilla adhesive products so I had no problem giving this Gorilla Glue a try. This is a largely clear glue that is semi thick. It has an applicator to help dispense only enough glue to suit your project needs. The glue has a slight odor but nothing super powerful. The glue is easy to work with and has a reasonable quick (working to set time). You must brace your work so it does not move after initial placement because gravity will make unsupported items slide before the glue has chance to set.I've built shelves for my kitchen cabinets and pantry with this glue. I repaired a cracked This End Up shelf with this glue. All of my wood projects have gone well without issue or failure. I even used this glue to install anti pigeon spikes across a few windows and light fixtures on my patio. The spikes are and have remained oriented in a manner that keeps the pigeons away. Hot Summers and cold Winters outside not withstanding. While clear out of the tube the glue dries to a milky white to clear color.I'd had no water issues using this glue. After 6 months nothing I've put together using this Gorilla Glue has fallen apart or even sagged. I give this Gorilla Glue my five star review because it was earned.
