Review on 🔲 Black Splinter Guard Replacement Strip for Makita 194419-4, 118 Inches Length by Joseph Neal

I bought this and the 55" version from Makita 194418-6 55" Splinter Guard as a replacement to restore my rails to their original condition offset. The 55" guard was about 3/4" longer than the rail. I made the mistake of not checking this protective cover before removing the adhesive paper and beginning the installation. When the entire guardrail was in place I still had about 3 inches of rail without the guardrail. It doesn't cause any functional problems, it just seems bad to me. If I had known this guardrail would be shorter, I would have spaced them so that there would be a portion at each end of the rail without the guardrail.
