Review on 💪 Gates 38157 DriveAlign Automatic Belt Drive Tensioner: Enhancing Efficiency and Performance by Juan Simpson

Should have listened to the reviews. I bought this in August as a spare to carry around with me on the road as I drive my truck and tow a trailer for my business. I finally needed this part and what do you know it's not done right just like others have said. Installed and immediately unhooked the strap from the rib and chewed up where it could no longer be used, not to mention the squeak caused by the failure. I use nothing but Gates belts, hoses and water pumps, but this tensioner is no good. Now I'm past the Revain return deadline and I'm stuck on a $50 paperweight. Funny how the expensive Gates tensioner says "Made in China" while the cheap Advance Auto Dayco I had to buy says "Made in America".
