I usually get rough stock but I was so happy with Hahnemühle rough that I decided to try a smoother cold pressed finish. I was very disappointed with the quality. Aside from the corner being crumpled on arrival, this flattened corner also broke on first use, giving the paper a little less support if you want it to dry evenly. It also split into another area. I usually mask my work around the edges before painting. This paper tore a lot more when I took the mask off than other papers. I had a color that was too saturated and when I tried to spread it with the brush it rubbed off the paper. Luckily it was on the outer edge and I was probably able to cover it with a rug. I probably won't buy this one again.
