Review on 🔩 IVY Classic 2" High Carbon Steel Screwdriver Bit (46218) by Dean Ledet

I had to 6" deep 13/16 holes drill for my floating shelf bracket and finding the right drill bit has been a challenge. While some are available, they are either very expensive or have a shank size significantly larger than my typical home improvement drill bit. Luckily I found this one. It arrived quickly and was well packaged in a bag that I can use for storage. I pre-drilled each hole with a 3/4" forstner bit to start leveling (I probably didn't need to, but I felt better). Then I put this drill in my drill press and drove into town. It's an auger drill and the boy really wants to drill with this drill. You have to be careful and keep pumping the drill back and forth to avoid going too deep and removing cuttings. It worked great. I got quick and clean holes that perfectly matched my mount. Good product.
