Review on ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Enhanced Performance: WARRIOR 153 Rear Gray Heavy Duty Shackle - Ultimate Strength and Durability by Tom Roberts

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Rating of the shackle after 3 years of use and 25,000 miles later: 5 STARS

I bought it in July 2014 so I can say I had enough time to really appreciate this product. This brace replaced the bent original rear brace on my 1999 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer V8-AWD that had 237,000 miles at the time. The Warrior Shackle definitely offered 1-1.5 inches of additional rear lift and gave it the sportier look I was looking for. Now, in November 2017, it's still holding up very well. There are a few rust spots and I suspect there will be some paint chipping/peeling given the NE winters and salty roads, but these are very minor and I've applied rust remover to them as far as I can see. Here are a few photos after 3 years of operation. Although not as nice as new, the "H" is still holding up very well. In those 3 years I've loaded bags of mulch, a whole bunch of shelving from our hardware store, or my own tools. In the 3 years since the replacement I have driven an additional 25,000 miles. In general, nothing sags or bends. Great, great product! Please note these photos are after 3 years of use, not of my car so it's not pretty but my aim is to show how it's still holding up pretty strong IMO.
