The thing works great. I live in the northern part of North America where there is a significant amount of snow and ice about 6 months of the year and that is priceless. The base is wide, so it only takes me about two minutes to clear the windshield of snow and ice, and then another two for the rear window. This is a real time saver. My only complaint would be the potentially poor long-term durability. The scraper has two parts, one is a cone to scrape snow and ice, and the other is a pointed handle to hit deep ice or sleet. They join together and form an ice scraper. After a single use, one of the scraper's handles broke off and now it no longer holds together as a unit. We can still use it, but it's not that easy to use anymore. I think a little super glue will help it stay together (and hopefully stay that way). However, the other wiper holds tight. Overall excellent value for money. Would buy again.
