Review on πŸ” Enhanced SEO: HHIP 3900-0201 Quill Feed Handle for Mill by Shane Tomko

Revainrating 4 out of 5

If you're bored, it works fine.

It seems odd that this grip fits perfectly on the Bridgeport spring after you drill it to size. This is easily done on a lathe with a boring bar or with a boring head on a milling machine. The top unscrews easily (2 x #2 screw heads) and the pin holding the handle is easy to knock out. After drilling and assembling, it works very well. Some sort of thread lock will likely be needed to prevent loosening of its parts. Why it's supposedly a kneecap is a complete mystery, as is the fact that HHIP continues to make it despite all reports that the hole is too small. Maybe it's the right size for some kind of milling machine. Despite everything, I am satisfied with his work.
