we scan documents every day, few documents but different sizes. We have been using printer scanners for years and this is the second time I have invested in a scanner to improve our efficiency (the first time was the Brother DS-200). For some things, I care more about efficiency than speed and quality. We mostly scan documents, so I don't care about colors, and I don't care about 30ppm. I'm looking for a one-click scan-to-disk button, and this is far from it. too many clicks to get to the folder. asks after each scan for a plug-in that I already have installed for a drive. IDs are not scanned. often gets stuck, pulling out 2 sheets at a time and taking out a stock. I will now continue to search for the perfect scan. I will update my review if I find that the problem is in the UI :) Update 06/02/2021 today the device stopped working, I got the error "scanner not ready" for several days and after restarting the scanner several times the problem will go away, but the error will not go away even after restarting the computer and scanner several times. very poor quality of this item. My opinion of the scanner hasn't changed from the original post, it definitely offers a fast scanning capability but with a lot of problems with document jams and software crashes when using different paper thicknesses. spent 3 hours with customer support, they directed me to download the file and run the tool to fix the problem and it worked again. for this product to function properly. Call Cannon Customer Service again.
