Perfect disposable egg cooker and peeler

The first time I used an egg cooker and peeler everything was perfect! Not so much since then. An egg cooker that I only use for hard boiled eggs has a brown burn mark that I need to clean up before putting away after use. I add exactly the amount of water needed. I only buy jumbo eggs. Since I first used the machine, two or three eggs will break and throw the egg out of the shell, which will then boil and stick to the eggs closest to the broken eggs. I don't know why it is like this. I don't crack/break eggs when punching a hole in them. This blade still seems sharp enough to punch holes just as well as the first time I used it. The peeler doesn't peel the eggs as nicely as the first time. The shell tends to stick to the eggs just as firmly as if I had shelled the eggs without it. All in all I'm NOT happy with it. I use it, but only because I've spent money on it. I'd rather just go back to what I was doing before I had those pills, which I will do knowing my husband won't notice I've stopped taking them. Rzhunimagu! It's more work because of all the parts I have to wash. I used to only have to wash the pot and its lid before buying them. I now have eggshells, rings, a lid and a cleaning knife, not to mention I clean the hotplate after each use so I don't have leftovers next time. I'm not thrilled with the cleaning but it just worries me because it doesn't work as well as it did the first time.
