A lot of reviewers love this item. A lot of reviewers HATE this thing. Decade. In recent years he has not dispensed any cleaning agent. I just mixed and poured some from a bucket and used the Floormate to wash and draw water. It was worth it for that alone. Eventually I broke down and got this new one. Paid €131.50. For the price, I won't be upset if it "only lasts 2 years". I'm old enough to know that it keeps me from mopping on all fours, is easy on my back and sucks up messy dirty water. It's not ideal. And it's probably not meant to "clean up" terrible messes. But it does a great job cleaning my wood grain tile floors. And works very well on my smooth tile floors. It doesn't clean within 1/4 inch of the baseboard. Nothing happens. I use Swiffer or damp paper towels for this. It does not dry floors 100%. It absorbs 99% of the water but occasionally leaves a few small wet spots. So what. I can live with wiping up a few stains with paper towels. Or let them dry on their own for 5 minutes. It is light, manoeuvrable, easy to fill and empty. I'll use it until it dies and then I'll buy another one. The bottom line is that if you expect more than I've described, you'll probably be dissatisfied with it. But if you appreciate the helping hand and have realistic expectations, it's a great tool for saving time and money.
