This is a good quality tool box. I'm a farmer and keep this in the back of my truck mainly to protect some of my cordless power tools from the elements. I also load it on my quad every now and then. After a year of hard work, opening many times and throwing tools and such, it kept its shape and no dents. That tells me it's relatively strong and probably made out of fairly thick aluminum. It's very light when empty, but the size is large enough to load it with a heavy one very easily. I'd like stronger grips as I'm afraid that's the weak link in this toolbox. When I put it on the quad, I slide it to the rack with two handles. I'm just afraid the rivets will come loose. EVEN when loaded with stuff the handles just feel inadequate like the rivets popping out of the sides if I use them too much. The latch is very light and works well, and the lift cylinder has enough power to lift and hold the lid in place. This winter I'll probably fabricate and weld a custom quick release mount so I can strap it to a quad without a strap. It's quite large for a quad (I put it on the rack of a Honda Rincon) but it's actually perfect for me as I load my quad with a lot of farm tools. I would definitely buy this again.
