Excellent tool box! I actually use it as a toy box for my son as his room is decorated with retro cars. The first came with a dent on the front, damaged on delivery, but Amazon arranged for the item to be shipped quickly and sent me another one! Completely satisfied with this purchase!

I used this as an under deck box. I used 200lb full extension slides. I needed something that wouldn't rust or get wet if the area flooded in the spring and something that would be suitable for storing a grill (sometimes hot) and gear. I needed a weatherproof lid, squirrels, raccoons and mice. I needed something permanent. This box is perfect in every way.

I have two of these to fit in the back of a Yukan (not XL). They are a good match. If you are careful when installing they can be opened with the tailgate closed, which works even better if you think someone might be closing the tailgate when the covers are open and your glass isn't broken. Although it looks like a diamond plate, it's actually made of soft aluminum. I ordered two sizes of this tool box, an ATV size and a tool box size to see which fits the trailer better. The quad was on the small size, but the fit and finish was great. Unfortunately the chest has a dent in the lid and it was impossible to open it - maybe because of the dent or just a defect - the world may never know. This is a good quality tool box. I'm a farmer and keep this in the back of my truck mainly to protect some of my cordless power tools from the elements. I also load it on my quad every now and then. After a year of hard work, opening many times and throwing tools and such, it kept its shape and no dents. That tells me it's relatively strong and probably made out of fairly thick aluminum.
