Along with the crank and bottom bracket, I disassembled and re-tightened the bottom bracket, cranks and pedals and the annoying noise with each pedal stroke has disappeared. Removes subjectivity from how tight things should be. The tool seems well made, I don't know about the accuracy but it felt right. I didn't have a torque wrench before. I watched a video on how to use it. It was quite obvious that the tool would "give" on reaching the desired torque, it could be seen and felt, it could be hard to hear. According to the instructions I've seen, don't move past this point. It seems expensive, but other torque wrenches will do, and I love that it can be tightened in any direction (for pedals, for example). I only use it for final tightening of things, use other wrenches for loosening and initial tightening because I think it might be delicate.
