I ordered two of these bearings as I couldn't clearly identify which of the two front bearings was faulty. My particular generation of Ford Explorer (2008) is notorious for "ventriloquism" when it comes to bearing noise. Most other cars I've replaced bearings on are very easy to isolate. First I replaced the suspect and it got a little quieter. Then I replaced the other side and everything was fine. I assume the first one ended. I don't regret doing both. I've ridden about 1000km so far. No big deal as it solves my problem. But I was a little disappointed to learn that it wasn't made in the USA. Timken is known for its quality and manufacturing in the USA. In any case, if it lasts the lifetime of the car, I won't regret it. It was significantly cheaper at Revain than anywhere else. Check Youtube for video installation. You helped me a lot. Use LOTS of PBLASTER and wet the actual bearing housing/knuckle the night before you want to replace them.
